With so many more women, with children in tow, starting up in business, the power of networking is as strong as ever. Networking is truly the key to business success, and whereas online is the everyday approach to networking, for one day of the year and during Business Mum Week, we are providing one day that will unite as many regional mums as possible, from both the mumsclub network and further, to strengthen the positive effect of the support of like minded women.
About mumsclub
Mumsclub was planned in 2006 and established in 2007 by Jane Hopkins who developed the mums business networking concept to provide much needed support for herself. She soon found other mums in the same position and through word of mouth, mumsclub soon became a very powerful business tool.
MumsClub is primarily a free networking resource for women who juggle family life with running a business from home. It is dedicated to inspiring and supporting mums into business through various initiatives, such as the publication of the free magazine (The Business Mum’s Journal), regular competitions including the annual PR challenge and the introduction of National Business Mum week and the introduction of local business networking groups – Mum’s Business Club .
Mumsclub is still the UK’s only business club designed for mums. It provides a free service for any woman who wants to build, or is already building, a business from home whilst juggling family life.
