Micro Scooters for all the family!

Micro Scooters Ltd. was founded in 2004 shortly after Anna Gibson discovered the 'Mini Micro' scooter. Convinced that the Mini Micro scooter was a must for every parent of young children, she set about making them more widely available having discovered only a handful of specialist shops sold them, bringing her friend Philippa Gogarty on board to help her.

Inspired by the Micro range, they added the rest of the products to their site  - www.micro-scooters.co.uk - and have continued to add to their range since then as and when they come across other good quality toys and outdoor activities that their children enjoy.

Five years on, and thousands more scooters out there, they are still convinced that the "Mini micro" is a must for every parent.

In the meantime, they have discovered a couple of great new products. As mothers of young and older children, they know that keeping them happily occupied is half the battle. They have created a website that only sells toys they know work. Many of the toys for sale are recommendations from other mothers and their children. Their market research is second to none. Any new product they come across is tried and tested on their 6 children, with an age range of 6 – 15 you can be assured that every product is looked over with a critical eye but at the end of the day it has to pass the test for them as Mums.

Either their life has to have been made easier by the introduction of the product to their children or the product has to have some intrinsic educational value - and so their search for more great products continues.

A truly interactive experience, kids can get their hands dirty and dig for fossils, piecing them together in the Activity Zone. They can also create their own dinosaur skins and colours at the popular Dino-Paint as well as testing their dinosaur knowledge with dynamic quizzes.

A family day at the Museum of London Docklands

MumsClub has teamed up with the new café at the Museum of London Docklands for the International Women’s Day awards on the 8th March. To celebrate their success the six winning Mums will be treated to a family day out at the museum including vouchers for a delicious lunch* at the café, which will re-open on the 21st February, following a fantastic makeover.

Adults will enjoy a choice of tasty Deli sandwiches, Piadinas and delicious Paninis with tea or coffee while kids will be able to tuck into their very own customised Pirate Lunchboxes.
